THE MID-OFFICE PROBLEM
Selling the holiday is the easy part. Running the operation behind it is where the day goes.
Most agencies run on a stack of separate tools. A booking system here, a supplier login there, pricing in a spreadsheet. Travelify pulls that together so the operation runs from one place.
Too many separate systems
Bookings in one tool, suppliers in another, pricing in a spreadsheet. The day gets lost moving between them.
Margins left to guesswork
Hand-applied mark-ups and gross or net confusion mean the sell price is rarely the one you planned.
Enquiries with nowhere to live
Without one place to track them, leads go cold while you are buried in admin elsewhere.
Paperwork between every booking
The gap between a customer search and a finished booking is manual, and that is where the hours go.
WHAT TRAVELIFY DOES
One place for your suppliers, your pricing and every booking.
Travelify brings the operational side of the business together, so you spend less time moving between tools and more time selling. It works alongside your accounting, it does not replace it.
ONE HUB

Your supplier connections, your direct contracts, your enquiries and your live bookings all sit in one interface. You get full control over every booking and customer detail without jumping between systems.

What happens after a customer books?
Travelifyโs Order Manager brings the order, its individual products and payment records together. Use it to find the booking and decide what needs attention. The distinction between an order record and a supplier action matters most when something changes.
Start with the status and each product
The Order Manager guide documents searches by booking date or travel date, agent, status and reference. An order marked โConfirmed with failureโ needs a closer look at the individual products and supplier error. For a flight-and-hotel order, check both elements before telling the traveller the whole trip is confirmed.
Keep a named person responsible for these exceptions. That gives a partly confirmed booking an owner and makes it easier to record the next action.
Changing a status is different from cancelling a booking
The after-sales guide distinguishes changing a displayed status from attempting a cancellation with a supplier. The cancellation action is available for a confirmed item, with terms shown before proceeding. Supplier API support varies and a failed attempt may need direct follow-up.
Record the supplierโs cancellation reference and check the payment position separately. This gives your team evidence of both the travel cancellation and any money still to return.
Keep price changes and payments aligned
Updating an itemโs selling price does not change the amount already paid. The guide says additional collections or refunds need to be handled by your accounts team. Updating contact details on an order also leaves the customerโs CRM record unchanged.
For example, if an agreed change alters a holidayโs price, record the revised amount, arrange the payment adjustment and check the confirmation sent to the traveller. Treat this as a suggested working process, with responsibilities agreed for your business.
Test the back-office handover
โSend To Backofficeโ can resend updated order information to a connected provider, but the receiving provider may not support updates through its API. Test a new booking and a subsequent change during setup, then record any manual step. See the business integrations guide for the wider handover questions.
