About DECTA
DECTA is a payment processor, card acquirer and electronic money institution. It works with merchants, payment service providers, fintechs and banks, and also offers card issuing and payment processing for other payment businesses. It lists offices in Riga, Nicosia, London and Dublin. DECTA says it has more than 20 years of experience and more than 2,000 customers and partners.
For merchants, DECTA provides online acquiring for Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and other payment methods, with a choice of checkout and payment page integrations. A travel section on its acquiring page says travel brands can accept payments in more than 50 currencies, with customers paying by their preferred local method. DECTA also offers a fraud and risk management engine, and says its acquiring is fully 3D Secure 2 approved and that it is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor.
Its UK company, Decta Limited, is authorised by the FCA as an electronic money institution (firm reference 900592). Its Irish company is authorised as an e-money institution by the Central Bank of Ireland.
