emerchantpay is a payment gateway, payment service provider and card acquirer. It also offers card machines and card issuing. Its UK company is authorised by the FCA as an electronic money institution and appears on the register as eMerchantPay Limited (firm reference 900778). emerchantpay says it was founded in 2002 and had offices across 17 countries by 2025.

Its travel offering is aimed at tour operators, wholesalers, travel merchants and online travel agents, whether small or corporate. emerchantpay says customers can upgrade or pay remaining balances without re-entering their details. It also offers network tokenisation and foreign exchange services, and says its travel payments are integrated with global distribution systems and reservation platforms.

For online payments it offers a hosted payment page, server-to-server integration and recurring payments. A virtual terminal handles mail and phone orders, and payment links can be sent by email or SMS. emerchantpay says it supports more than 50 payment methods and more than 150 processing currencies, and that its online payments are PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Customers pay at checkout on your website. You set deposit rules in Travelify, our mid office, so customers can choose a deposit or the full amount, and each booking arrives in Travelify with the payment already taken. Online payments come with every plan: Spark, Boost and Ignite.
