About Flutterwave

Flutterwave is a payments technology company founded in 2016. It focuses on Africa, where it said in June 2025 that its technology reached more than 34 countries, and serves businesses from startups to enterprises. Flutterwave Incorporated is registered in the United States, with its registered office in San Francisco.

For businesses, Flutterwave offers an online checkout, payment links for one-off or recurring payments, invoices and subscriptions. Developers can use its APIs, mobile SDKs and plugins for online stores. Flutterwave says it collects payments in many currencies, is PCI DSS compliant and holds ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certification. It lists travel and hospitality among the sectors it serves.

In January 2026 Flutterwave announced that it had acquired Mono, an African open banking and account-based payments company, which remains independent.

Flutterwave is one of the payment providers Travelgenix supports. If you already use Flutterwave, you can connect your own account and keep the rates you have.

Customers pay at checkout on your website. You set deposit rules in Travelify, our mid office, so customers can choose a deposit or the full amount, and each booking arrives in Travelify with the payment already taken. Online payments come with every plan: Spark, Boost and Ignite.
