About Frisbii

Frisbii is a subscription billing and recurring revenue platform. On 19 March 2025 Billwerk+ and the plenigo and Sofacto brands began operating under one name, Frisbii. The website is operated by Frisbii Germany GmbH in Frankfurt am Main and Frisbii Media GmbH in Kempten, and the group also has companies in Denmark, France and Poland. Frisbii said in March 2025 that it serves more than 5,000 customers in the technology, e-commerce and media sectors.

The business grew out of Billwerk, a subscription billing company in Frankfurt. The growth equity firm PSG, which took a majority stake in Billwerk in May 2021, says Billwerk was founded in 2015. Billwerk merged with the Danish payment provider Reepay in November 2021 and with the French provider Sofacto in January 2022. The three companies came together as Billwerk+ in January 2023.

Frisbii’s payment gateway takes one-off and recurring payments. Frisbii says it supports more than 50 local and global payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna and SEPA Direct Debit. Businesses can choose and switch the acquiring partners behind it, and Frisbii says it includes fraud prevention with 3DS and custom risk filters.

Frisbii on Travelgenix

Frisbii is one of the payment providers Travelgenix supports.
