About Mint Payments
Mint Payments provides payment services to the travel industry. It was founded in Sydney in 2007, moved into travel in 2017 and now serves travel networks, operators and suppliers in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Its UK company, Mint Payments UK Limited, is based in London, and Mint entered the UK travel market in 2025. In March 2026 Mint said it processes more than AUD 3.5 billion in transactions a year.
Mint’s online tools are built for travel agencies and tour operators. They include a virtual terminal for card payments, payment links, a hosted payment page and a payment form that can be embedded in a website. Scheduled payments let a business collect the deposit it needs and have the remainder collected automatically. Customers can pay in their preferred currency, while the business settles in its base currency or selected foreign currency accounts.
Mint Protect, launched in 2025, is Mint’s chargeback and risk product for travel merchants. Mint says it provides guarantees covering chargebacks and fraud disputes, including when a supplier fails or a service is not delivered. Mint announced in March 2026 that it had become an ABTA Partner.
