About Mondee

Building on its business as an airfare consolidator, Mondee says it now connects more than 65,000 travel agencies and travel experts with airlines, hotels and holiday accommodation, cruise lines and car hire companies. It says travel sellers can book flights on more than 500 airlines through it, with privately negotiated airline and hotel rates. Its website lists four customer groups: travel agents and experts, employee and member benefits, travel influencers and travellers. Mondee says it was established in 2011 and is based in Austin, Texas.

In April 2025 Tabhi bought substantially all the assets of Mondee Holdings, Inc., which had owned the business. At the time, Tabhi said its owners included Mondee’s co-founder, Prasad Gundumogula, who took a majority stake, alongside affiliates of TCW and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. The company said it was now operating as Tabhi, although its website still trades as Mondee.
