About Sunhotels

Sunhotels began in 2002 with the aim of helping Scandinavian travel agencies find accommodation in European beach destinations. WebBeds, the B2B accommodation marketplace owned by WebBeds Group Limited (ASX: WEB), bought it in 2014, and in 2020 brought its trade brands together under the WebBeds name. The Sunhotels site now describes itself as a WebBeds trade booking site.

Through the site, travel agencies and tour operators can book WebBeds’ worldwide hotels, apartments and villas, as well as transfers, excursions, attraction tickets and sport event tickets. Bookings are made under the trade terms of WebBeds FZ-LLC, a company in the United Arab Emirates.

The Spanish Sunhotels company has been renamed WebBeds SOL, and the UK company, Sunhotels Ltd, was dissolved in July 2026. In its annual report for the year to 31 March 2026, WebBeds said it offered more than 500,000 hotels in over 190 countries.

Sunhotels on Travelgenix
