About USAePay

NMI announced on 23 February 2021 that it had acquired USAePay, which it described as a payment gateway company with over 20 years of experience, based in Glendale, California. The announcement said nearly 90,000 merchants used USAePay at the time.

NMI is headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois. In the UK it trades as Network Merchants Ltd, with an office in Bristol. NMI says it works exclusively through partners, such as banks, independent sales organisations, payment facilitators and software providers, rather than selling directly to merchants. It says it is backed by Insight Partners, Francisco Partners and Great Hill Partners.

The usaepay.com website now redirects to NMI’s site, while USAePay’s help centre for merchants, resellers and developers remains online. NMI says it has 6,000 channel partners and more than 1.2 million active merchants.

USAePay on Travelgenix

USAePay is one of the payment providers Travelgenix supports. If you already use USAePay, you can connect your own account and keep the rates you have.

Customers pay at checkout on your website. You set deposit rules in Travelify, our mid office, so customers can choose a deposit or the full amount, and each booking arrives in Travelify with the payment already taken. Online payments come with every plan: Spark, Boost and Ignite.
