About VISIT

Visit Group was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1999 and is still headquartered there. In May 2026 it completed a rebrand that brought its products together under one name, VISIT. Visit Group International AB remains the legal entity.

VISIT sells software to hotels, holiday rental agencies, attractions and experience providers, ski resorts, ferry operators and destinations. It says it serves more than 10,000 customers in over 150 countries and employs over 400 people in nine offices across eight countries. In January 2024 the investment firm PSG announced it was taking a majority stake as part of a growth investment of more than €100 million, with the founder and management remaining significant owners.

VISIT is not a bed bank. The rooms and services belong to the hotels and operators that use its software. Its Galaxy API is for travel businesses, tour operators and third-party sellers that want to sell this VISIT-connected inventory through their own channels, covering stays, activities and transport.

VISIT on Travelgenix

VISIT is one of our premium partners, so you can sell its rooms and stays from VISIT-connected properties through your Travelgenix plan. Customers search, book and pay on your website, and every booking lands in Travelify, our mid office. Rooms can be sold on their own or in a package with flights and extras.
