Worldpay provides card acquiring and payment processing. Global Payments, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, completed its acquisition of Worldpay from FIS and GTCR on 9 January 2026. In the UK, Worldpay (UK) Limited is registered in London and listed on the FCA register as an authorised payment institution.

For online payments, Worldpay offers hosted checkout and embedded components, Worldpay eCommerce for smaller online businesses and integrations with popular ecommerce platforms. It supports Apple Pay, Google Pay and Payment links+, with FraudSight for fraud prevention. Worldpay says its multicurrency pricing lets customers choose from more than 135 currencies.

Its travel and airlines page offers global acquiring with currency conversion, and Worldpay says it has over 120 airlines in its portfolio. Worldpay also issues virtual cards for paying suppliers, which it says work in 16 currencies and are designed for UK and EEA travel agents. Global Payments says the combined company serves more than 6 million merchant locations in more than 175 countries.
