THE SHORT VERSION
Global Travel Group is part of The Travel Network Group. Its offer supports people starting a travel business as well as established agencies, with training and ongoing support. The parent group lists Global within its managed-services membership range, so it should not be presented as an unrelated standalone consortium. Source: The Travel Network Group: Global Travel Group
Define what you are buying
Ask the recruitment team to set out the business model, the services included and the work you will still do yourself. Match that list to your experience and available time. This makes the proposal easier to assess than a broad promise of help with starting an agency.
Plan the first bookings
Request a demonstration covering a quote, a payment, an amendment and a cancellation. Record who deals with each stage and when support is available. The exercise gives you a practical training plan and identifies questions to resolve before taking bookings.
