THE SHORT VERSION
Worldchoice Plus is one of The Travel Network Group’s managed-services options, alongside Global Travel Group. The group describes managed services as support for the operational work involved in running an agency. The Plus name identifies a particular service proposition within the group, rather than a separate industry regulator. Source: The Travel Network Group: Managed services
Map who does each task
Before comparing fees, list supplier payments, reconciliation, booking amendments and customer refunds. Ask which team handles each task under the proposed agreement. This creates a clear basis for assessing how much work the service would remove from your own operation.
Test an exception
Use an illustrative late cancellation to discuss approvals, response times and communication. Ask how a case is escalated when the usual contact is unavailable. Testing an awkward booking gives you more useful information than only seeing the routine sales process.
