Your social accounts should help a potential customer understand what you sell, trust your advice and take a useful next step. You do not need to publish constantly. Start with one holiday you want to sell and the best page on your website for someone considering it.
Before you post
Check your business name, description, contact details and website link. Open every link on your phone. A customer interested in a particular holiday should arrive on a relevant page, not have to search your homepage for it. Make sure someone is responsible for replying to comments and enquiries during your stated business hours.
Turn one useful guide into three posts
Illustrative content set based on a first-time cruise cabin guide.
Decide what matters before comparing cabins
Explain one practical choice, using information checked for the cruise you discuss.
Show how to compare the options
Use readable captions and a short explanation of meaningful differences.
Read the guide or ask for help
Direct people to the full guide and a suitable enquiry route.
Build a small campaign
Choose one audience and one question. For example: first-time cruise customers who are unsure how to choose a cabin. Create a short website guide that answers the question and offers a clear enquiry route. Then make three different social posts from it:
- A useful tip explaining one decision customers need to make.
- A short video or carousel showing how you help compare the options.
- An invitation to read the full guide or ask for help with their own holiday.
Use this as a starting routine. Choose a manageable schedule and adjust it using your results. Some posts can simply answer a question or start a conversation; others should have one clear action.
Example post
Choosing your first cruise cabin? Before comparing prices, think about how you will use it. Are you expecting quiet evenings in your cabin, or will you mostly be out exploring the ship? Our guide explains the questions to ask before you choose. Read it here: [relevant link].
Adapt the action to the format
On Facebook, use the relevant website link in the post. On Instagram, use an available clickable route such as your profile link or a Story link sticker, then test it in the published format. Do not assume a typed web address in a caption creates a usable link.
Make the content trustworthy
Use photographs and videos you own or have permission to publish. Say when an image is illustrative. Check prices, dates, availability and inclusions before posting an offer, and update expired offers. Ask permission before sharing customer photographs or identifiable stories. Add captions to spoken video and make text readable on a phone.
Give Luna a brief it can work from
Luna Marketing is included free for every Travelgenix Ignite client.
First-time cruise customers
Help them understand which cabin choices to discuss with an adviser.
Paste the facts to use
Provide checked details and your own knowledge; include the destination page link.
Use our brand style
Do not invent prices, testimonials, personal experience or urgency.
Check every version before publication
Review copy, images, claims, links and any offer conditions.
Check what worked
Review website visits from your links, useful enquiries and bookings alongside the platform's content insights. Record which topic and page generated each enquiry where you can. Likes can help you understand interest, but they are not sales. Repeat the useful topics, improve weak landing pages and retire formats that take too much time for the response they produce.
Make use of your Ignite package
Luna Marketing is included free for all Ignite package clients. Give it your topic and review the versions it creates for your connected social channels. Add your own knowledge, check the wording and images, and use the calendar to plan when your selected posts go out. Check every price, offer condition and website link before publishing.
Social publishing runs through Metricool, managed by Travelgenix and included, so you do not need a separate scheduling subscription.
A useful brief to adapt: “Create three posts for first-time cruise customers using these verified points: [paste points]. Each should explain a different planning decision and lead to our guide at [page link]. Use our friendly brand voice. Do not invent prices, customer stories or personal experience.”
Your first task
Choose one priority website page, produce three complementary posts and test every customer route from post to enquiry.
