Every link Luna builds is dated relative to today, so a search a visitor comes back to next week still opens on valid dates rather than a date that has passed.
If a client has no search configured, Luna switches to an explicit no-search mode rather than inventing a URL. That rule exists because a client without an App ID once had Luna invent booking links on their own domain, and they all returned 404. It cannot happen now.
